I'm back!!! :D I've been doing some serious crafting the last few weeks....and I finally have some pictures taken to showcase it all. So here goes...
I've always been impressed when we got a handmade thank you card. I don't know what it is about them, but I love them. Maybe it's the extra bit of effort I always thought the person stuck into the card or something. But whatever it was, when it came to thank you cards (for my wedding gifts) I was determined I would make my own. After all, the first few weeks are kinda slow as you get situated, etc. (especially during the winter months)...and I thought I'd have lots of time anyways.
It wasn't until I counted together how many cards I actually needed to make that I understood just exactly what I was undertaking!!! 100+ cards....and I had to come up with something that I liked...and would actually want to create over 100 times!!! ...not to mention the fact that it had to be something that I would STILL like it after they were all made!!! :p
but I was determined to try...
First off, I received a CuttleBug for a wedding gift from our youth choir. :D To say I was impressed is putting it lightly....I was ECSTATIC!!!
Using the Cuttlebug Organic Border Embossing folder and the folder that had come with the Cuttlebug, I came up with a design that I absolutely love! :D
I did made a variety of colours...and two different types of butterflies....just so I wouldn't get bored from the making the same old, same old. :p The "thanks" stamp is from the
Fiskars Latte Love Coffee Tear Friend clear stamp set. It was fun....but I was glad when they are all made and sitting in the box ready for the signing. :D
Whatcha think???
