Hi guys. It's been pretty busy around my house these days...not giving me a lot (if any) of time for things like blogworld. But that's okay. Baby time is precious...and baby always comes first. :)

Hi guys! I saw today that I've reached 125 followers!!! WOW! I'm impressed! :) I must be doing something right as far as my cards and projects go. :)
So I've decided to do a little candy to celebrate. I have this very sweet unmounted stamp called "A Little Kiss" by Crafter's Companion that needs a new home. With the wedding season just around the corner...this would be perfect for your collection.

Tea Light Candle Card
Hi guys. Today didn't go quite like I had originally planned (and it's not even half over yet!), but it left me with some time at my crafting table. I've wanted to try my hand at making a "Tea Light Candle Holder card". These cards are super cute -- and they're a card and gift all-in-one! How cool is that!??
I found a tutorial on Split Coast Stampers...and set out to try it. There's really not a whole lot to these cards -- just some cutting and scoring. Pretty basic...and very fast to make, despite how complicated they look!!! :)
I started out with some glossy gold cardstock. I scored and cut as the directions indicated in the tutorial. Then I folded it up and stuck it together using some adhesive (added my 3 scented tea light candles first of course).
Using the Fiskars spring Limited Edition Butterfly border punch, I punched a black border and then attached it to the side of my card flap. Then, I inked up a Sweet Stamps "Fanciful Butterflies" punch and stamped two butterflies onto some white cardstock, which I then layered onto some black cardstock. Finally, I also inked up a Fiskars clear stamp sentiment, which I also layered onto some black cardstock.
Using some stamp dimensional foam, I attached the images to my card base.
As you might have noticed, I stamped the 2 butterfly images slightly off the white cardstock. I thought it might be interesting to add more dimension to the card by adding some cut out butterflies on top of the images.
Stamping the same butterfly image onto some white cardstock, I cut out two butterflies and blinged them up a bit.
Finally I attached these butterflies onto my stamped cardstock...lifting the wings off a bit, so they have some dimension.
And my card was complete! It turned out super cute -- and I know I will be making more of these types of cards in the future! They're fun...and just a little something extra. :)
Well, give it a try yourself. You don't have to make a tea light candle holder if you're not into candles. You can fill the little tube with whatever you want -- whether it be candy or some other treats! The possibilities are endless!!! Have fun! :)

Christmas is Coming & Some Giveaways
Hi guys...I'm back with another Christmas card to share with you. This one features ribbon. Ribbon is one embellishment that I love to see on cards, but when I try using it on one of mine, they often don't turn out quite right.
This card actually turned out the way I had it planned in my head. :) Thanks to an online friend, I have the Easy Bow maker to help make the perfect bows.
The Easy Bow Maker doesn't look like a whole lot, but it makes perfect bows every time...and saves lots of time trying to get the bows look pretty. It's definitely a time-saver. :)

100 followers candy
Hi peeps! My blog officially has 100+ followers!!! I'm impressed!!! :) I guess I'm doing something right. :p
April is also my birthday month...so I'm combining the two and sending a lucky follower a little something to help me celebrate. :) The candy is a Schoffie's clear stamp that I had in my stash. I won it in a candy awhile back, but it doesn't work for my style of card making. If you're interested in giving this stamp a new home, sign on up!

Love Always Layout
Hi guys! Today I'd like to tell you about a new challenge blog I found. I love these challenge blogs, not just because they do have GREAT prizes, but also because I get inspired by the projects the DT post...and the other bloggers who enter the challenges. It's very cool to see how many different ideas you can get from a simple theme like "Flowers" or "Sentiments only" , etc. I love it! :)
So on to the challenge blog. It's called "Unique Crafter's Challenges". The challenges last for a month...and then they have a draw for a great giveaway! :) Like wow!!! :)
This month the challenge is "Anything Goes". That's pretty simple, eh??? So basically all you have to do is link up your latest project....and you get entered to win the prize! Totally cool. You can enter up to THREE different projects.
Today I am entering a scrapbook layout that I made for an 8x8 album. It's very simple scrapbooking, but I've come to realize that pages can be over-stuffed with embellishments, pictures, etc. I tend to stick to simple pages that let the pictures do the talking...cause for me that's the whole idea of scrapbooking in the first place! :)

Scrappy Butterflies
Butterflies. There's just something special about them. They're beautiful. Peaceful. Elegant. They represent a freedom to me. So when I get a chance to add a butterfly (of any kind) to a scrapbook layout or a card I go for it. ...which is why my cleaning-out-the-scraps card turned out to have so many butterflies on it. :D Yup, stamping them on wasn't good enough -- so I added a few punched out ones as well. Whatcha think???

I know it's January...and we're all probably terribly sick and tired of all the sweets and junk food the Christmas holdiays always seem to bring with them. But here's another type of candy...that are calorie-free!!! :) How sweet is that, eh??? Check out my candy bar (on the left-side of my blog) for some fabulous candy. Some Candy Goodness
Hi all. :) I'm getting married next month. :) So that means I had to not only clean out my scrap table/corner...but pack it up...and fit it all into boxes!!! Get it all ready to move. For My Little Sis
