Some Candy Goodness
Hi all. :) I'm getting married next month. :) So that means I had to not only clean out my scrap table/corner...but pack it up...and fit it all into boxes!!! Get it all ready to move. And no...I was NOT looking forward to it! But after a lot of procrastinating, I finally took the time and just did it. It wasn't so complicated! LOL
I came across a few goodies that I won in blog candy in the past, but never found a use for. So I've put them all together...and decided to do a blog candy on my own blog.
If you're interested in winning this candy...do the following:
1. post a picture of my candy on your blog sidebar to let others know about it
2. leave me a comment on this post
3. you can become a follower of my blog, but it's not a requirement.
I'll run this candy until Nov. 10th. Good luck! :)
btw, my current followers are already in the drawing...just for being the fabulous followers that you are. :)

Easel Card
Hi there! I have another project to show off. This is my first ever easel card!!! :) I've been wanting to try my hand at them, 'cause I love their unique look. And seriously, for a fancy-folding card, this one is about the simplest one I've tried yet! It only looks complicated! LOL

Fly Away Card
Well blogland....I'm not officially back yet.... :P but I did spend a hours at my crafting table this afternoon, so I thought I'd post my creation.
A fellow cardmaker gave me her Fiskar "Fly Away" border punch to borrow....to see if I could come up with an idea of how to incorporate it into a card. While I do love the punch I actually had to give it back without even one single card to show!!!!!!!!!! It's a cute punch, but it's different. Kinda a lot wider than punches I've used in the past....I don't really know what it was about it exactly.
Today I saw the punched sheets and thought -- why not give it another try. This time it worked....and I finally have a card to show for it! LOL What'cha think??? Think it works???
challenges:
The Paper Shelter -- Anything Goes
Sweet Stampin' -- Flowers
Paper Craft Star -- Sketch
The Squirrel and the Fox: Anything Goes

I'm Brave!
It's summertime....and these days I'm much too busy doing anything and everything else to spend any time at my scrapping table. So yeah, my blog will not be updated much in the next few months....but here's a little something to showcase for now.
This is the lastest rug I made. I started out wanting to make it all blue, but I didn't like my third shade of blue, so I opted for gray instead. Everytime I show this to people....they say something like "well you're brave!". Not sure exactly what it is about this rug that makes me "brave", but okay! LOL I love it, and that's the only important part here anyways! :p

Me and You
I'm back to working on my graduation scrapbook. Here's a look at one of the pages I completed awhile back. I actually lifted the layout....and I absolutely love it! It's one of my favourite pages in the whole album. Me and my grandma :) TFL

I love the embossing on the background papers!!! :)

ConGRADulations
It's that time of year ago -- lots of graduations happening. And of course, we all need a card to help mark the occasion. :) My little sister is graduating this year (man I'm getting old!!!!) and she wanted some grad cards to send to fellow classmates and friends.
I borrowed a Martha Stewart border punch and the owl stamp from a friend...and set to work. This is the best punch I've used to date -- definitely the next one I'm buying for myself! I absolutely loved working with it! :) Anyways, I made a half dozen similar cards -- only different colours. And now they're all ready to be sent off! :) TFL
